The San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos have had comparable beginnings to the 2024 NFL season, each recording a 3-3 record after six games. Denver is sitting in third place in the AFC West, while San Francisco has the tiebreaker advantage for first in the NFC West.
Now, both teams are being speculated to reach a notable trade agreement before the deadline.
49ers-Broncos Pegged To Agree To Massive Trade (Report)
Tyler Sullivan of CBS Sports pointed out that DJ Jones of the Denver Broncos might be a potential trade target for the San Francisco 49ers. Jones played for the 49ers from 2017 to 2021 before signing with the Broncos as a free agent in 2022. Although the Broncos have shown some competitiveness this season, if they decide to trade Jones—who will be a free agent after this year—to regain assets, reuniting him with San Francisco would be a logical move to strengthen their defensive line.
