USC Commit Visits for Ohio State Game
Wide receiver Romero Ison, who committed to USC in April, attended Penn State’s game against Ohio State on Saturday. Penn State is working to flip the Maryland native, and it seems he’s still open to considering the Nittany Lions. Ison ranks as the No. 53 wide receiver in the 2025 class.
Meanwhile, 2025 Florida quarterback Carter Smith reopened his recruitment last week after decommitting from Michigan. Penn State is likely to be one of the schools competing for him. Smith is currently ranked as the No. 14 quarterback in the 2025 class. While 247Sports’ crystal ball still favors Michigan, Penn State is expected to make a strong push for him.
