Crochet, an All-Star in his first year as a starter with 209 strikeouts, is seen as the most exciting option due to Chicago’s ongoing rebuild, which has made him available.

Cody Williams from *FanSided* has suggested a major trade package to acquire Crochet, involving Wilyer Abreu, Kutter Crawford, Franklin Arias, and David Sandlin in a four-for-one deal. Williams notes that Crawford, who recently completed 33 starts with a 4.36 ERA and a 1.112 WHIP, would immediately bolster Chicago’s rotation, while Abreu could be the deciding factor for the White Sox.

While Boston would be giving up valuable players like Crawford and Abreu, this potential trade would allow the Red Sox to keep top prospects Roman Anthony, Marcelo Mayer, Kristian Campbell, and Kyle Teel.
