Wide receiver CJ Daniels has been in and out of the lineup over the past three games due to a lower leg injury. He is expected to return against the Crimson Tide, provided there are no further setbacks.
As the team’s third-leading receiver, Daniels has caught 29 passes for 342 yards, adding depth to a strong passing game led by former Alabama receiver Aaron Anderson and Kyren Lacy.
Daniels’ presence could be crucial to LSU’s aerial success, as the Tigers boast one of the SEC’s top passing offenses, averaging 337 yards per game. Alabama’s secondary will need to contain Daniels and his fellow receivers to improve their chances in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
