Tennessee flips Wisconsin linebacker 5-star commit

Tennessee was looking to add another linebacker to their 2025 class, and they achieved that goal on Thursday night. The Volunteers successfully flipped in-state recruit, who had previously committed to Wisconsin, making him the third linebacker addition to their current class.

Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 220 pounds, Anes is ranked 584th nationally by the 247Sports Composite, 20th within Tennessee, and 61st among linebackers for the cycle. A product of Fred J. Page High School in Franklin, Tennessee, Anes initially received his first SEC offer from Tennessee about a year ago. Wisconsin soon followed, and he committed to the Badgers in January. However, Tennessee continued to pursue him, and after Anes visited Knoxville during the Florida game weekend, he ultimately flipped his commitment to Tennessee just a few weeks later. This marks another recruiting success for linebackers coach William Inge.

Anes joins four-star linebacker recruits Christian Gass and Jaedon Harmon in the 2025 class. He is the 23rd commitment in a class that ranks among the top ten nationally, with just over a month left until the early signing period.
