Breaking news:The Washington Commanders have recently signed multiple former University of Georgia wide receivers, bolstering their offensive lineup…..
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint: After going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, Rosemy-Jacksaint signed with the Commanders as a free agent. During his tenure at Georgia, he accumulated 74 receptions for 1,028 yards and seven touchdowns over 47 games. In the 2023 season, he achieved career highs with seven receptions against Tennessee and 99 receiving yards against Kentucky. Despite a leg injury in 2020, Rosemy-Jacksaint demonstrated resilience and consistent performance throughout his college career.
Lawrence Cager: Initially playing for the Miami Hurricanes, Cager transferred to Georgia for his senior year in 2019. At Georgia, he recorded 33 receptions for 476 yards and four touchdowns in eight games. Cager began his professional career with the New York Jets in 2020 and has since spent time with the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. He joined the Washington Commanders on a reserve/futures contract in January 2025.
These acquisitions reflect the Commanders’ strategy to enhance their receiving corps with players familiar with high-caliber competition. Both Rosemy-Jacksaint and Cager bring size, experience, and a history of performance under pressure, attributes that could prove valuable in the upcoming season.
